Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for Drivers' Mates based in the Crawley and Salfords area for our well established clients in the logistics industry. Salary is £12.71 per hour with start times 5am–7:30am and finishing around 3:30pm–5:30pm, dependent on when you return to the yard.

You will work alongside our drivers to ensure deliveries are made safely, on time and with excellent customer service. The role includes heavy lifting and a team environment.

Qualifications

• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential.

• Assisting the driver with loading and unloading goods.
• Supporting with navigation and route planning when needed.
• Delivering items to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• Providing great customer service on every delivery.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.

Hours: Start time varies from 5am to 7:30am finish time varies depending on when you get back to the yard usually around 3:30pm to 5:30pm
