Air Conditioning Engineer at NJ Construction Services

Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic A/C Trainee/Mate to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems.

Duties:

1. Assist Install Engineers with the installation of HVAC Systems.
2. Learn how to bend sets and install pipework.
3. Learn basic electrical skills and tray work/trunking.
4. Learn basic plumbing principles and install condensate runs off units.
5. Learn how to read construction drawings and schematics.
6. Learn how to hang or mount different types of A/C units.

Requirements:

• A good attitude towards work and a keen attitude to learn the trade.
• Punctuality and good timekeeping.
• Valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Valid CSCS or skills card.
