About The Role
  • To assist in the delivery of a high-quality greenspaces service throughout the borough; in accordance with the Council’s policies and service specification.
  • The Operative will work as a member of a team of cleansing operatives in the boroughs parks and open spaces.
  • To drive and be responsible for the operation and safe use of service vehicles or any ancillary equipment associated with the provision of the cleansing service.
About You

To be considered for this role you should be a team player with a flexible approach to working hours. You will also need a good standard of fitness.

You will be expected to work in the London Borough of Barnet, carrying out various grounds’ maintenance duties. These duties will include activities such as, sweeping, litter picking and litter bin emptying. For these roles you will need a driving licence and be willing to take on training.

Hours of work are annualised, 39 hrs in summer and 29.25 in winter.
