Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle to deliver construction supplies to various sites.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Qualifications
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Adequate experience of driving long distances for several hours and completing multiple, varied drops.
  • Navigational ability and good knowledge of Sat Nav / Map Reading.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks.
  • Preferred: Experience with flatbed trucks.
