Job summary

Veolia in Falkirk is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our waste management team. You will drive to planned collection locations and move/empty bins, with early starts and a 48-hour week.

You will log all trip data in the onboard system, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure loads comply with road rules. A flexible approach is required for occasional later starts. We offer a generous benefits package and career development within Veolia.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi/Tachograph card.
• Desirable: waste management experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads.
• Ensuring the carriageway is left clean and any spillages are cleaned up.
