Job summary

Veolia is hiring a HGV Class 2 Driver for Beighton, S20 1AH. The role involves driving to collection locations, moving waste containers, and completing daily vehicle checks. You will update onboard systems and paperwork daily, while adhering to traffic laws and load weight limits.

Qualifications

• Essential: Cat C (Class 2) licence.
• Up to date Driver CPC.
• Digi / Tachograph card.
• RCV experience.
• FEL experience.
• Desirable: Skips / RORO experience.
• Waste industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and paperwork is up to date and submitted daily.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle per the driver operator handbook.
• Complying with traffic laws and load weight regulations.

HGV Class 2 Driver Salary: £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits - Weekly Pay £5.00 Daily meal allowance Single person allowance - Earn an extra £41.16 daily when you complete over 110 bins (RCV mode) Pay is based on 48hrs per week but the working time reference period is a 48hr average across 26 weeks.Therefore, you may be required to work more or fewer hours some weeks, depending on business requirements Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday AM & PM RCV cover. Shift will depend on where cover is required. Occasional Saturday working may be required based on business needs. Location: Beighton, S20 1AH
