Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple waste containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Complete daily vehicle checks per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.
• Keep the carriageway clean and clean up any spillages.

Job description

Ready to find the right role for you? Salary: £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits £5.00 daily meal allowance per day worked. Single person daily allowance: paid dependent on the route £41.16. Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 4am starts and finishing at 14:00. Some days you will be asked to start later so you must be flexible with working hours. Location: Falkirk, FK2 7UY.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

What we’re looking for
