Veolia ES (UK) Limited is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver in Croydon. You will drive to planned and ad-hoc locations, collect waste, manage jobs on a tablet and perform daily vehicle checks. You will input data, comply with laws, and maintain clean sites, with bank holiday work required.

The role offers training and development, funded driver CPC, and a Christmas bonus. Join a supportive team with on-site parking and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Essential: Cat C (Class 2) licence.
• Essential: Up-to-date driver CPC.
• Essential: Digi / Tachograph card.
• Desirable: RCV/Waste Industry Experience.
• Desirable: Clean driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Drive to planned and ad-hoc collection locations, collecting fly tipped material, bags and bins.
• Use a tablet to receive and manage jobs.
• Lift items of all weights and sizes.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per operator handbook.
• Input all information into onboard system and keep paperwork up to date.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight limits and security.
• Ensure the carriageway is left clean; clean spills as needed.
• Bank holiday working is required.

Ready to find the right role for you? HGV Class 2 Driver Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, various shifts available (05:00-14:00 or 07:00-16:00) Location: Croydon Pay rate: £17.73 per hour

What you'll be doing;

• Driving to planned and ad-hoc collection locations, collecting fly tipped material, bags and bins.
• Using a tablet to receive and manage jobs
• Lifting items of all weights and sizes
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up
• Bank holiday working is required
