Job summary

Connolly Limited in Leeds/Bradford is seeking a reliable driver to join our Social Housing team on long-term contracts. You will transport materials, load and unload deliveries, and support site teams to keep refurbishment projects running smoothly.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, practical knowledge of local roads, and a professional, courteous approach. You will work independently with varying duties across occupied and void properties, contributing to safe, efficient site

Qualifications

• Previous driving or delivery experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good knowledge of local road networks.
• Reliable and organised approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience within construction or Social Housing is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering materials, tools and equipment to sites
• Collecting materials from suppliers and merchants
• Supporting site teams with loading and unloading deliveries
• Carrying out regular vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised company vehicle
• Assisting with stock movements and site logistics
• Supporting operatives with site requirements when required
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional and courteous service at all times
