Job summary

Norse Commercial Services Limited in Havant is recruiting a Driver Loader to join our waste management team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering 37 hours per week, with a 7am-3pm schedule Monday to Thursday and 7am-2:30pm on Friday.

You will drive LGV Class C vehicles between domestic and trade customers, assist with loading at sites and unload at the depot, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class C Entitlement.
• CPC with Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving Class C LGV's.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in training in waste management.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles between domestic and trade customers.
• Assist with loading at sites and unloading at the depot.
• Support the waste collection team and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of safety and conduct.

Driver / Loader - Havant

£31,694 per annum

Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-2:30pm

One of our key services is waste management, and we are currently looking to recruit an HGV Driver Loader to work with our team in the local area. This position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your role will be working alongside the waste collection team, driving our vehicles between domestic and trade customers and supporting with loading at sites and emptying the freighter at the depot. Our teams provide a valuable service within the area and maintaining our high level of customer care will be a key part of the role.

Our successful candidate

Ideally you will have previous experience within in a waste management environment, but we are happy to provide support and training if you can demonstrate;

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class C Entitlement
• Current Driver Qualification Card (CPC), with a Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience driving Class C LGV's
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
• Great communication skills
• Capable of delivering a high level of customer service
