Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Driver to load, deliver and collect portable toilets and welfare units to customer sites in a timely, professional manner. You will also demonstrate equipment as required and handle related checks and administration.

The role includes servicing, cleaning and maintaining units, keeping the depot tidy, and ensuring fuel and maintenance standards are met. A valid driving licence is essential; CSCS and forklift licences are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment.
• Strong team player who is willing to support colleagues with additional tasks.
• Ability to work to own initiative in a fast-paced depot environment with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Role

Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us?

Our Welfare Services division hires a range of portable chemical toilets and ADA approved wheelchair access units alongside mobile eco welfare units.

The duties of the Driver will include loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstration (if required) and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire. In addition the Driver will be responsible for the service, cleaning and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units. Working in the heart of the depot you would also be responsible for keeping all areas clean and tidy day in day out, and ensuring that any equipment leaving the depot has been refuelled and maintained to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

About You

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:
