Job summary

Air Liquide UK Limited in Stratford, London is seeking an experienced Driver to operate heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently, delivering cylinders/cylinder packs to customer sites and depots on schedule.

Ideal candidates will hold an LGV C license with a clean record, CPC card, ADR qualification, and proven multi-drop delivery experience across local and regional areas. Health, safety, and customer service are emphasized.

Qualifications

• A minimum LGV C (HGV 2) license with a clean driving record and a valid Driver’s CPC Card.
• ADR qualification.
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and good knowledge of local and regional areas.
• Good health and fitness for manual handling of cylinders; willing to undergo a company medical.
• Strong numeracy and literacy for logging and reporting.
• FLT Licence is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services, ensuring products reach customer sites and depots on schedule.
• Maintain load and vehicle security, ensuring all safety equipment is in working order per ADR standards.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and well maintained.
• Manage daily documentation, including tachograph charts, advice notes, and fuel mileage; ensure work hours comply with WTD.
• Obtain signatures, collect payments when required, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Follow Health and Environment policies and our 12 Life-Saving Rules.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Air Liquide is currently searching for a dedicated Driver to join our Energas team in Stratford, London. In this role, your primary mission is to operate our heavy goods vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently. You will play a pivotal part in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and of company cylinders/cylinder packs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services, ensuring products reach customer sites and company depots on schedule.
• Maintain full responsibility for load and vehicle security, ensuring all mechanical and safety equipment is in working order in line with ADR standards.
• Ensuring your assigned vehicle is kept clean, and being responsible for its upkeep
• Manage essential daily documentation, including advice notes, tachograph charts, and fuel mileage, while ensuring all work hours align with WTD regulations.
• Obtaining signatures, collecting payments when required, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Prioritise the well-being of staff, customers, and the public by strictly adhering to our Health and Environment policies and our 12 Life-Saving Rules.

Are you a MATCH?

We are looking for a disciplined driver with great customer service skills and a commitment to safety. You will also need:

• A minimum LGV C (HGV 2) license with a full, clean driving record and a valid Driver’s CPC Card.
• A valid ADR qualification.
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and a strong geographical knowledge of the local and regional areas.
• A good standard of health and fitness is required for the manual handling of cylinders, and you must be willing to undergo a company medical if requested.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills are required for accurate logging and reporting.
• FLT Licence an advantage but not essential.
