Job summary

Energas, part of the Air Liquide Group, is seeking a dedicated Driver for our Marston Green team in Birmingham. You will operate heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently, delivering engineering equipment to our branches across the country.

The role requires a valid LGV C (HGV 2) licence with CPC, multi-drop delivery experience, and good health and literacy. ADR is desirable; FLT is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A valid LGV C (HGV 2) licence with a clean driving record and CPC.
• ADR qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and knowledge of local/regional areas.
• Good health, fitness, numeracy and literacy to log and report accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality multi-drop deliveries to company depots on schedule.
• Maintain load and vehicle security; ensure vehicle safety checks are completed.
• Keep vehicle clean and up-to-date; manage daily documentation and tachograph records.
• Collect signatures and payments when required; deliver excellent customer service.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Air Liquide is currently searching for a dedicated Driver to join our Energas team in Marston Green, Birmingham. In this role, your primary mission is to operate our heavy goods vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently. You will play a pivotal part in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and of our engineering equipment to our branches across the country.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services, ensuring products reach company depots on schedule.
• Maintain full responsibility for load and vehicle security, ensuring all mechanical and safety equipment is in working order.
• Ensuring your assigned vehicle is kept clean, and being responsible for its upkeep Manage essential daily documentation, including advice notes, tachograph charts, and fuel mileage, while ensuring all work hours align with WTD regulations.
• Obtaining signatures, collecting payments if required, and maintaining a high standard of customer service when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prioritise the well-being of staff, customers, and the public by strictly adhering to our Health and Environment policies and our 12 Life-Saving Rules.

Key Requirements

• A minimum LGV C (HGV 2) license with a full, clean driving record and a valid Driver's CPC Card.
• A valid ADR qualification is desired but not essential.
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and a strong geographical knowledge of the local and regional areas.
• A good standard of health and fitness is required for the manual handling of equipment, and you must be willing to undergo a company medical if requested.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills are required for accurate logging and reporting.
• FLT Licence an advantage but not essential #LI-KM1
