Job summary

ITS Property Maintenance are recruiting a reliable Driver Labourer to support Kitchen and Bathroom Fitters on planned refurbishment projects across Milton Keynes. The role is hands-on, physically demanding, requiring a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a company van between sites and assist the team throughout the day.

You will load/unload materials, help with rip-outs and installations, and keep work areas safe and tidy.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous labouring or construction experience.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills when working with residents.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Kitchen and Bathroom Fitters on planned refurbishment projects.

ITS Property Maintenance are working with a reputable contractor delivering planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes within the social housing sector.

We're looking for a reliable Driver Labourer to join the team, supporting Kitchen Fitters, Bathroom Fitters and Multi-Trades across occupied and void properties throughout Milton Keynes.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role, so previous labouring or construction experience is essential.

If you have basic carpentry, plumbing or general multi-trade skills, this would be advantageous but is not essential.

A full UK driving licence is required as you'll be responsible for driving a company van between sites and assisting the team throughout the working day.

Your Key Duties

• Supporting Kitchen Fitters and Bathroom Fitters on planned refurbishment projects.
• Assisting with kitchen and bathroom rip-outs and installations
• Loading, unloading and moving materials, tools and equipment
• Removing and disposing of waste materials safely and efficiently
• Driving a company van between properties across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
• Maintaining van stock and ensuring materials are available for the day's work
• Carrying out general labouring duties and assisting trades where required
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times

What's Needed From You

Hours & Pay

• 40 hours per week
• £13.90 - £16 per hour
• PAYE (Holiday Pay or Rolled-Up Holiday Pay available)
• Starting September 2026
• Able to follow instructions while also using your own initiative
