Wolseley is hiring a Delivery Driver for Milton Keynes on the night shift, working 45 hours per week. You will hold a Class 1 HGV licence and be responsible for delivering diverse loads to various addresses while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasises safety, vehicle checks, and teamwork with the transport team, plus potential bonuses and employee benefits. A pension, healthcare, and discount schemes support the package.

Formación

• Full Class 1 HGV licence is required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs and Driver CPC.
• Experience with or willingness to learn digital handheld devices.
• Confidently interacting with customers and suppliers to build relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as ambassadors of the Wolseley brand.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and perform daily vehicle and equipment checks.

Delivery Driver – 32T – Milton Keynes – Wolseley

Salary: £46,637.50 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

As an HGV Driver based in Milton Keynes you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday on the night shift.

• A full, Class 1 HGV licence
• Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs
• Driver CPC
• Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices.
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
