Job summary

Wolseley Group, via Burdens, is seeking a HGV Driver (C) based in Newmains, Scotland. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB, delivering and collecting civils materials while upholding excellent customer service and safety standards.

The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary, bonus potential and a strong benefits package including pension and health options.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card is required.
• Digital Tachograph card experience.
• Capable of using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to a high standard.
• Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment and load checks and reporting defects.

As a HGV Driver (C) based in Newmains, you’ll be responsible for:

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.


• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.


• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.


• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
