Job summary

Burdens, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting for an HGV Driver (C) with HIAB to join our team in Newmains. The role focuses on safe delivery and collection of materials for civil projects, building strong customer relations and upholding the highest standards of service.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card
• Digital Tachograph card experience
• Capable of using handheld devices

Responsibilities

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.
