Job summary

Klondyke is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver/General Assistant for the Houghton Hall Garden Centre. The role is 24.5 hours per week spread over 3 days, including regular weekend shifts, with a competitive hourly rate of £12.75.

You will carry out customer deliveries, handle till duties, stock replenishment and merchandising across departments, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safe vehicle operation and general retail duties. Must be 25 or older for insurance.

• Knowledge of safe warehouse operation and manual handling.
• Forklift license and driving license required.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Attention to stock checks and detail orientation.

Delivery Driver/ General Assistant

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Delivery Driver/General Assistant to join the team in our Houghton Hall Garden Centre.

The hours for this position are 24.5 per week over 3days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

Our competitive rateof pay for this role is £12.75 per hour.

You must be 25 years or over for insurance restrictions.

The Role

As a Delivery Driver/General Assistant you will carrying out customer deliveries ensuringsafe vehicle operation and excellent customer skills will be essential for this role. Required to be physically fit due to heavy liting aspect of the role.

• Carrying our customer deliveries
• Till operation and serving customer when required
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department

• Any other duties associated with a retail environment.
