Job summary

Keys Group, Bryn Irfon, is seeking a Support Worker in Builth Wells. The role requires you to hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence and to work flexible shifts including nights and sleep-ins where needed. You will support adults with learning and mental health needs, enabling independence and everyday life activities.

You will accompany residents to appointments, assist with personal care and help with budgeting, shopping, cooking and daily tasks within the service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Flexible working days, nights and sleep-in shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence while helping them lead a fulfilling life.
• Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and assisting with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
