Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is hiring a Driver Debriefer to join the Stoke-on-Trent transport team. The role covers general admin duties in the Transport Department, with a fixed Monday–Friday shift from 11:30 to 19:30.

Salary is £26,921 per annum, with opportunities to develop in a friendly, performance-driven environment. Responsibilities include debriefing drivers, checking timesheets, handling PODs, and maintaining transport records in the TMS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Debrief drivers accurately and promptly.
• Check timesheets and ensure PODs are complete.
• Scan and store PODs using the document system.
• Prepare driver wallets and issue delivery notes.
• Print despatch notes and replenish papers as needed.
• Answer phone inquiries and assist customers.
• Download driver cards/ tachographs for records.
• Communicate ETAs to Customer Services and update spreadsheets.
• Manage loads in the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensure uplifts are dispatched in correct loads and trailers tracked.

Our friendly transport team in Stoke on Trent have an exciting opportunity for aDriver Debriefer to join their team on a full time permanent basis!

As a Driver Debriefer you willbe responsible for providinggeneral administration support to the Transport Department.

Salary:£26,921 per annum.

Shift:Monday-Friday, 11:30-19:30.

Key Duties of aDriver De-Briefer include:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
• Ensure all trailers are tracked.
