Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, invites applications for a Transport Administrator at our Deeside site. This full-time, permanent role supports the transport team with POD/Return processes, bookings, and data management to keep operations running smoothly.

Working Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, you will handle paperwork, liaise with depots and hauliers, and maintain accurate records while meeting deadlines. Salary is £26,031 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to POD and Return processes per site policy.
• Book in collections for customers and handle paperwork.
• Book in deliveries for customers and coordinate with hauliers.
• Investigate any collection queries and resolve issues.
• Ensure paperwork for dispatched deliveries is completed and chase PODs.
• Liaise with depots and external contacts to coordinate activity.
• Manage inbound diary for all customers and monitor daily POD workflow.
• Compile period-end spreadsheets and report outstanding PODs to relevant teams.

Our Deeside site have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join their team on a full timepermanent basis.

Salary:£26,031 per annum.

Working hours:Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.

The purpose of aTransport Administrator is to provide administrative support and creation of accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contributing to the overall success of the site.

Key Duties of aTransport Administrator:

• Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents.


• Booking in collections for customers and completion of relevant paperwork.


• Booking in deliveries for customers.


• Investigate any collection queries.


• Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site, and chase outstanding POD’s.


• Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts.


• Photocopying, printing, organising and storing documents and computer based information.


• Managing inbound diary for all customers.


• Monitoring daily the clean POD workflow.


• Controlling period end spreadsheets.


• Compiling lists of outstanding POD’s and contacting the hauliers to request.


• Reporting the POD’s outstanding each day.

• Proven experience in a similar role.


• Fantastic communication skills.


• Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.


• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.


• Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages.


• High level of attention to detail.


• Able to manage own time to achieve targets.
