Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Driver De-brief to support daily delivery operations from our warehouse. You will debrief drivers on return routes, check route paperwork, discuss day’s challenges, and record information accurately.

The role collaborates with several internal teams to resolve delivery issues and maintain records for continuous improvement. The position is 8 hours per week, Saturdays 11:00–19:00, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

We operate the UK’s ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick and distribute products to the nation’s best loved food and drink brands every single day and provide the best experience to our customers.

Based within the warehouse, the Driver De-brief role is responsible for supporting the daily delivery operation by debriefing drivers on their return from scheduled routes. This includes collecting and checking route paperwork, discussing any challenges or incidents encountered during the day, and ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded.

The post holder will liaise with internal departments to resolve delivery-related issues, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement across the transport and warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify delivery documentation returned by delivery drivers, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and meets required standards.
• Communicate effectively with multiple departments to obtain the information necessary to complete assigned tasks accurately and within required timescales.
• Produce, maintain, and distribute operational reports to relevant departments, ensuring a consistent and effective flow of information across the business.

• To be able to effectively communicate with various departments through phone, E-Mail and verbally.
• To be computer literate, using various Office programmes such as Word and Excel
• Be pro-active and able to work under your own initiative.

8 hours per week Saturday. Working hours are 11am - 7pm
