Job summary

Cook Trading Limited is hiring a Driver in Witney to join our Retail Team on a Christmas Casual basis. You will deliver meals to customers, provide friendly service and ensure deliveries are safe and on time.

We offer a competitive pay of £13.45 per hour, paid breaks, staff discounts and a range of wellbeing and employee benefits. A full UK driving licence (Cat B) and at least two years of driving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Cat B UK manual driving licence (full, UK).
• Minimum of two years driving experience.
• Aged 25 and over for Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely and provide courteous customer service.
• Plan routes for timely deliveries and inform office of delays.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations and speed limits.
• Complete paperwork and return it to the office after each shift.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction during deliveries.

The Role

• Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
• Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
• Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits
• Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
