Job summary

COOK is seeking delivery drivers to join our Retail Team in Locks Heath. Casual hours and £13.45 per hour. You will deliver groceries to customers' homes, provide friendly service, and follow safety guidelines.

A valid cat B license and at least two years driving experience help you excel; the role rewards reliability with paid breaks, staff discounts, and a benefits package. We value warmth, knowledge and care in our team and welcome applicants who enjoy community involvement and can work

Qualifications

• Cat B UK manual driving licence required.
• Minimum two years driving the class of vehicle.
• Aged 25+ for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries safely and in line with the driver handbook.
• Plan routes for efficient and timely delivery and inform office of delays.
• Prioritise safety and comply with traffic regulations.
• Complete and return all paperwork at end of shift.

The Role

• Offer remarkable service - the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
• Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
• Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner and comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits.
• Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B full car/van UK manual driving licence. Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for insurance.
