Job summary

Speedy Hire in Carlisle is seeking a Driver Category C2 to deliver hire equipment locally and act as the face of the business. Flexible hours exist, with a focus on work/life balance and inclusive working arrangements.

You will operate from Carlisle, working Mon-Fri, 07:30-16:30, totaling 42 hours per week, with opportunities for training and progression within the Speedy Group. A driving licence and Cat C are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Cat C (Class 2) licence required.
• Good knowledge of the local Carlisle area.
• Strong customer focus for client-facing role.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Ability to support the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Based in Carlisle the role of Driver Category C2 is a busy and productive role. You will be delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What You’ll Need

• Driving licence
• Cat C licence (Class 2)
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
