Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Glasgow is seeking a Driver Category C to deliver hire equipment across the local area. The role is based in Glasgow with variable hours and a 42-hour week, supporting our customers and representing the brand on-site.

The ideal candidate holds a Cat C license, UK driving experience and strong customer focus, with a flexible, proactive approach to work and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Cat C licence (Class 2) recognised for driving big hire vehicles.
• Experience delivering hire equipment and navigating local routes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire equipment around the local area from Glasgow base.
• Be the face of Speedy, delivering great service and upholding brand values.
• Support colleagues and customers to ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

Job Title - Driver Category C

Location - Glasgow

Working Hours - Mon - Fri, 07:30 - 1700 - 42 hours per week

Based in Glasgow the role of Driver Category C is a busy and productive role. You will be delivering hire equipment around the local area.This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What you'll need:

• Driving licence
• Cat C licence (Class 2)
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
