Come and join us as a Driver and Warehouse Assistant on a flexible hours basis to help us grow, deliver sales, and exceed customer expectations.

As a Driver and Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service. You’ll be professional, driven, and enthusiastic. This role reports to the branch management team and involves providing high-level service to internal and external customers, delivering products under tight deadlines, assisting in the warehouse, and occasionally serving customers at the trade counter or over the phone to maximize sales.

You will be contracted for a set minimum number of hours per week and should be flexible to work additional hours, especially during peak winter heating season. Hours and shifts will be scheduled with advance notice. We encourage a supportive and inclusive team environment, and we believe you'll enjoy the journey!

Please note, this role requires you to have a valid driving license and previous driving experience.

• Ensure health and safety of yourself and your vehicle
• Maintain the condition of your vehicle
• Report issues or incidents to your line manager
• Comply with transport laws and regulations
• Manage stock and deliveries
• Support sales targets by assisting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager
• Maintain high standards, foster customer loyalty, and provide first-class service
• Assist with branch duties such as serving customers at the trade counter and telesales
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the trade and warehouse areas

Ideally, you will have previous warehouse and driving experience, knowledge of relevant products, and a flexible approach to work. You should be passionate about customer service and supporting your team.
