Driver and Warehouse Assistant - Flexible hours

#BelongWithUs Come and join us as a Driver and Warehouse Assistant on a flexible hours basis to help us grow, deliver sales and exceed customer expectations. You will be contracted to 16 hours a week, but you will be flexible to work a weekly pattern of up to 37.5 hours a week to cover peak trading hours, holidays and meet business needs.

The role:

As a Driver and Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, and you’ll be professional, driven and enthusiastic. The role reports into the branch management team and involves providing high-level service to internal and external customers, delivering products to meet tight deadlines. You will also assist in the warehouse and may interact directly with customers at the branch, serving on the trade counter and over the phone, ensuring excellent service and maximizing sales. Please note, this role requires you to have a valid driving license with previous driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure health and safety for yourself and your vehicle.
2. Maintain the condition of your vehicle and report issues.
3. Comply with transport laws and regulations.
4. Handle stock and deliveries.
5. Support sales targets and customer service standards.
6. Assist with branch duties like serving customers and telesales.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the trade counter and warehouse.

About You:

You should have a clean driving license, ideally some warehouse and driving experience, and knowledge of our industry’s products would be a plus. You’re flexible with hours, capable of working up to 37.5 hours weekly, and passionate about customer service. We believe you’ll enjoy supporting your colleagues and having fun along the way!
