Job summary

Speedy Hire in Kilmarnock is seeking a Delivery Driver to service local hire equipment, working Mon-Fri from 07:30 to 17:00 for 42 hours a week. You will be the face of our business, loading, delivering and supporting customers across the local area.

You’ll need a UK driving licence with C1, good knowledge of the local area, and a friendly customer-focused approach. The role offers a supportive team, opportunities for development, and a commitment to flexible work patterns.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with C1 and up to 6 penalty points.
• Good knowledge of the local area and routes around Kilmarnock.
• Strong customer focus and professionalism when delivering hire equipment.
• Experience driving within the UK and working in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire equipment locally by driving a suitable vehicle.
• Be the face of Speedy Hire and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow safety procedures and ESG-related guidelines during deliveries.

Based in Kilmarnock, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What You’ll Need

• Driving licence With C1
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
