Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in Gloucester is seeking a Delivery Driver for a 7.5-tonne truck, delivering hire equipment across the local area. You will be the face of our business, upholding our vision and values.

The role supports our ESG initiatives and People First philosophy, with flexible start times and potential for coordinated career growth. A full UK manual licence with up to 6 penalty points is required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• Good knowledge of the local area for efficient route planning.
• Strong customer focus and professional presentation.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Ability to support the ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 tonne truck to deliver hire equipment to local sites.
• Be the face of Speedy, representing our values on visits.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and proper handover of equipment to customers.

Job Overview

Speedy are the UK's leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job! Based in Bristol the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 7.5ton truck, delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

Requirements

• Driving licence with ability to drive C1
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
