Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a 7.5t Driver (Cat C1) to join our distribution team in the United Kingdom. You will operate a 7.5t vehicle, delivering furniture directly to customers’ homes as part of a two-person crew.

This premium Temp-to-Perm opportunity offers a fixed 07:00–19:00 shift pattern and an attractive hourly rate of £17.51. New passes are welcome and the role will involve safe navigation and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C1 licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• New passes welcome and will be fully considered.

Responsibilities

• Professional driving: operate a 7.5t vehicle on scheduled routes.
• Home deliveries & loading: load/unload with delivery partner.
• Customer service: provide polite, professional delivery experience as brand face.
• Compliance & checks: complete pre-route inspections and tachograph records.

Based out of our busy customerS distribution centre, we are looking for reliable 7.5t Drivers (Cat C1) to join our team.

This is a premium Temp-to-Perm opportunity with an excellent hourly rate and a highly predictable shift pattern. Working as part of a friendly 2-man crew, you will be responsible for navigating your route safely and delivering high-quality furniture directly into customers’ homes.

The Role Involves:

• Professional Driving: Operating a 7.5t vehicle safely and efficiently across your scheduled delivery route.


• Home Deliveries & Loading: Working closely with your delivery partner to safely load and unload


• Customer Service: Acting as the face of the brand by providing a polite, professional, and helpful delivery experience.


• Compliance & Checks: Completing daily pre-route vehicle inspections, managing tachograph records, and ensuring paperwork is correctly completed.

What We Are Looking For:

• A valid UK Category C1 licence (7.5-tonne), plus a valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.


• New passes are highly welcome and will be fully considered.
