Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the UK is seeking a 7.5-tonne Home Delivery Driver based in Tingley. You will deliver goods safely and on time, often in a two-person team, and may install white goods.

Applicants must hold a valid 7.5 tonne (C1) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with at least 12 months’ recent driving experience and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety standards and Highway Code.

Shift patterns: 1 role working Sunday to Thursday - 6am start and 2 roles working Monday to Friday - 10am start

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Multi-drop delivery of home and garden furnishings, to customers room of choice
• Working in a 2-person team, this is a physically demanding role which also includes installation of white goods such as washing machines and dishwashers
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
