Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a 7.5T Driver at Tamworth (B77 5PR). The role involves delivering goods safely, complying with drivers’ hours, and performing vehicle checks. Set shifts are 5 days out of 7 with permanent full-time employment.

A typical day includes safe driving, adhering to safety standards, manual handling, and occasional driving with a driver’s mate. Physical work and driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Ideally 12 months recent driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Experience with multi-drops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with regulations and company policies.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and the Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and reports.
• Assist with manual handling of customer products.
• Install white goods as required on deliveries.
• Travel with a driver's mate when needed.

play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Installing white goods
• going out with a drivers mate.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid 7.5T Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
• have no more than 6 points
• have previous experience with multi-drops
