Job summary

Speedy Hire in Oxford is hiring a Delivery Driver (3.5 ton) to handle local hire equipment deliveries. You will drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van, meet customers face-to-face, and act as the face of our business while upholding our values.

Hours are Mon–Fri, 07:30 – 17:00, 42 hours per week with flexible, amended hours and work/life balance. Salary £29,572 per annum, pro rata, plus benefits including pension, life assurance and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence is essential for daily deliveries.
• Good knowledge of the local Oxford area and streets.
• Strong customer focus to represent Speedy Hire professionally.
• Experience driving in the UK with a clean safety record.
• Appreciation of ESG values and responsible driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire equipment locally using a 3.5t flatbed van.
• Greet customers, ensure safe handovers and build rapport.
• Support the business unit and ESG initiatives in daily work.

Based in Oxford, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van, delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.
