Job summary

Speedy Hire, the UK’s leading hire provider, is recruiting a Delivery Driver to operate a 3.5-ton flatbed van in Newport and deliver hire equipment locally. You will represent our values on every job. Hours are Monday to Friday with 07:30–16:30 starts, totaling 42 hours per week, and you must work 2 weekends out of 4 with paid overtime.

Flexible hours and work-life balance are emphasized. Ideal candidates hold a UK driving licence, a valid PTS, and can complete NWR medical; a good knowledge of

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times -07:30 - 16:30, 42 hours per week - must work 2 weekends of 4 paid additionally

Based in Newport, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van, delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What You’ll Need

• Driving licence


• Eligible to complete NWR medical


• Hold a PTS


• Good knowledge of the local area


• Strong customer focus


• Experience driving within the UK


• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
