Speedy Hire in Gloucester is hiring a Delivery Driver to operate a 3.5 ton flatbed van and deliver hire equipment around the local area. The role requires a valid driving licence and a customer‑facing approach, with early starts and steady pace throughout the day.

Location - Gloucester

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times - 07:30 - 17:00, 42 hours per week

Salary £29,572 Per annum, pro rata

Based in Gloucester, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

Requirements

• Possess a driving license and be able to assist trained rail engineers during weekends to support various jobs on track, such as setting out our sight lighting and operating our clipping machines.
• Flexibility and availability on weekends and holidays (visibility at least 4 weeks in advance to allow planning).
• Reliability.
• Pass their PTS (Personal Track Safety).
• Attend product familiarisation training at their local Rail depot.
