Job summary

Speedy, the UK’s leading hire provider, is seeking a Delivery Driver (3.5ton) in St Albans. You will drive a 3.5t flatbed van, delivering hire equipment across the local area, with hours from 07:30 to 17:00, Mon to Fri, totaling 42 hours per week.

Flexible hours and job-share options are considered to support work-life balance. You will be the face of Speedy, contributing to ESG initiatives and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of the local area around St Albans.
• Proven customer-focused service experience in a delivery role.
• Experience driving in the UK and adhering to road safety.
• Wamiliarity with ESG commitments and Decade to Deliver initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire equipment using a 3.5t flatbed van in the local area.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the Speedy brand.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and operate safely in all weather.

Based in St Albans the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van, delivering hire equipment around the local area.This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What you’ll need:

• Driving licence
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
