Job summary

GXO Swindon is recruiting a Class 1 Day Driver to join City Plumbing on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work Monday to Friday with start times between 04:00 and 07:00, completing 3 to 4 drops per day and ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is in order.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with C+E, have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience, and under six penalty points, plus a current CPC and tachograph. The role includes training, pension, and access to GXO University.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than six penalty points (TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements).
• An up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph.

Responsibilities

• 3 to 4 drops per day.
• Operating the vehicle in a safe and legal manner, ensuring it is loaded correctly prior to leaving site (No Handball Required).
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in line with company policy.
• Operating automated lift decks as required on a day-to-day basis.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• 3 to 4 drops per day
