Job summary

Dorset Council UK is seeking a permanent part-time driver to support school transport in the Shaftesbury area. The role involves driving a 17-seat minibus or smaller, with split shifts (morning and afternoon) during term time only, about 25 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will hold a D1/D1 101 or D category on their licence, have practical experience with children, and be physically fit to assist passengers as needed. Benefits and training are provided by Dorset Council.

Job description

We are seeking to recruit a permanent driver with a responsible and caring attitude to assist in school transport in the Shaftsbury area.

The hours of work are approx. 5 hours a day Monday to Friday split shifts morning and afternoon, transporting to and from the school within term time only.

Vehicles you will be driving will be a 17 seater mini bus or smaller.
