Job summary

24x7 Group is seeking reliable part-time drivers to provide safe school and local transport for passengers on routes.

Role offers 12.5–25 hours per week with route-dependent pay. Training provided, vehicle supplied with fuel card. Enhanced DBS check and Group 2 medical required; right to work in the UK. Term-time work options and holidays available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK car category driving licence required.
• Ability to handle diverse vehicles including wheelchair-accessible ones.
• Must pass Enhanced DBS Check.
• Group 2 medical assessment completion required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive passengers safely to schools or other destinations.
• Build professional relationships with passengers, parents and staff.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Be available for morning and afternoon school-day shifts.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK
