Job summary

Cygnet Long Eaton Day Services is seeking a part-time driver to operate a 7-seater minibus across the Nottingham area. The role requires a D1 licence, a clean driving history, and the ability to work a split 3-hour morning and 3-hour afternoon shift from Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for vehicle checks, refuelling, keeping the vehicle clean, and reporting faults. DBS checks are mandatory, and the role offers a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving D1 Licence with no more than 3 points.
• 21+ years old and have held a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Ability to navigate the local area using Sat Nav or maps.
• Able to plan and keep to a schedule.
• Willing to work unsupervised.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company minibus (7 seater) on a part-time split shift (3h morning, 3h afternoon).
• Carry out vehicle checks before departure and on return; refuel and keep the vehicle clean.
• Report any faults or damage and ensure safe, on-time journeys.

We have a long history of enhancing the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service.We are currently looking for a Driver, who is able to drive our 7 seater mini bus, working on a part time basis. This is a split shift contract, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, Monday- Friday.Please note: For insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years of age or over and have held a full UK driving license for at least 2 years. You also need to have a D1 licence to be able to drive the minibus.You will also be responsible for ensuring the company vehicle used is refuelled and to check the vehicle before going out and after return, keeping it clean inside and out and reporting any faults/damage.You will need to demonstrate each of the following:Hold a valid UK driving D1 Licence with no more than 3 pointsKnowledge of the local areaAble to navigate around an area using Sat Nav or mapsAble to plan and keep to a scheduleWilling to work unsupervisedGood customer service skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written.Excellent organization skillsWhy Cygnet?
