Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Hexham is seeking a Bank Driver to provide transport for escort visits for service users and staff. You’ll work bank hours at the Hexham site, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

You will perform thorough vehicle checks, report issues, and comply with Health & Safety and company protocols. A valid, clean driving licence is essential, and successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check.

We are looking for an outstandingBank Driver who lives locally, within a3 mile radius to Cygnet Hospital Hexham ( NE46 4JR),with a passion for making a difference to others.

You’ll be working Bank Hours at our site in Hexham helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people travelling in our care.

Cygnet Hospital Hexham is our 27 bed mental health facility for women with complex mental health needs. The hospital is built to meet the latest national specifications for improving mental health within a therapeutic environment.

Situated amongst the soft fields and meadows of the Tyne valley, which is known for its abbey, leafy parks, and mix of independent shops, the hospital will provide an important and much-needed service for service users within the North East of England.

Your day-to-day

We are looking for a Driver to provide transport for escort visits for both service users and staff.

• Thorough vehicle checks to ensure Safety Checks
• Reporting of any problems and compliance with Health & Safety and company protocols.
• Bubbly personality and great communication skills
• Valid, clean driving license (Essential)
