Job summary

Lithia UK TPS in Northampton is seeking a Part Time Parts Delivery Driver. You will deliver parts to trade customers, manage paperwork, and support the parts team while driving safely. A full clean UK manual driving licence is essential, with good local road knowledge. The role offers 33 days holiday incl. bank holidays, pension and life assurance, plus exclusive discounts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to trade customers at their business addresses and manage required paperwork.
• Receive and receipt payments from customers when required.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, safe, and roadworthy in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain the Drivers’ Log and ensure it is up to date.
• Handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
• Make deliveries and collections as required to support business needs.

Part Time - 29 Hours Per Week (Rota TBC)

Basic salary of £19,166.68, pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you'll work hard to ensure all of our customers receive the correct parts every single time. Working alongside the parts department means you'll be a great communicator, organised and methodical, and of course, a great driver.

Your Journey as a Parts Delivery Driver:

• To deliver parts to our trade customer’s business address, ensuring the collection and / or completion of all paperwork required
• To receive and receipt for the collection of payments from customers where required
• To ensure that vehicles used for delivery are kept in a clean, safe, roadworthy condition and serviced with accordance with manufacturers specifications
• To keep the ‘Drivers’ Log’ up to date
• To ensure all dealings with customers are handled courteously
• To make deliveries and collections for the business needs when required

Do you have what it takes to be a TPS colleague? We’re looking for someone who has:

• A full clean UK manual driving licence is essential, with the confidence to drive a range of vehicles and a good local knowledge of the road and motorway networks
• Previous driving/delivery experience throughout multiple transport routes and with a range of vehicles
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
• The ability to plan travel routes, manage time effectively and work productively as part of a busy team
• Genuine commitment to delivering outstanding services and representing our brand with pride
• Due to insurance restrictions, all candidates must be aged 21 years old or over to be considered for this opportunity
