Job summary

Lithia UK TPS in Luton is recruiting a Parts Delivery Driver to ensure accurate parts delivery to customers. You’ll work with the parts department, communicate clearly, and be a reliable driver.

The role requires a full UK manual licence, good local knowledge, and delivery experience. We offer generous leave, pension, discounts, and training as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Good local knowledge of road and motorway networks.
• Previous driving/delivery experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to trade customers at business addresses.
• Receive and receipt payments from customers where required.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, roadworthy and serviced per spec.
• Maintain Drivers' Log up to date and handle paperwork.
• Interact courteously with customers and colleagues; deliver as needed.

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you'll work hard to ensure all of our customers receive the correct parts every single time. Working alongside the parts department means you'll be a great communicator, organised and methodical, and of course, a great driver.

Your Journey as a Parts Delivery Driver:

• To deliver parts to our trade customer’s business address, ensuring the collection and / or completion of all paperwork required
• To receive and receipt for the collection of payments from customers where required
• To ensure that vehicles used for delivery are kept in a clean, safe, roadworthy condition and serviced with accordance with manufacturers specifications
• To keep the ‘Drivers’ Log’ up to date
• To ensure all dealings with customers are handled courteously
• To make deliveries and collections for the business needs when required

Do you have what it takes to be a TPS colleague? We’re looking for someone who has:

• A full UK manual driving licence is essential, with the confidence to drive a range of vehicles
• and a good local knowledge of the road and motorway networks
• Previous driving/delivery experience throughout multiple transport routes and with a range of vehicles
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
• The ability to plan travel routes, manage time effectively and work productively as part of a busy team
