Job summary

GI Group is recruiting Drivers to support vehicle ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics client based in Stallingborough.

You’ll move vehicles safely across site and between compounds, driving electric, manual and automatic vehicles. You will use handheld scanners, perform basic checks, and report damage promptly. Ongoing assignments offered with a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• Licence held for at least 24 months.
• No more than 3 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes).
• Aged 22+ (for insurance purposes).
• Confidence driving manual, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles within the main compound and between on-site compounds.
• Drive a variety of vehicles, including electric, manual and automatic.
• Use handheld scanners where required.
• Complete basic vehicle checks and report any damage promptly.

Location: Stallingborough

Pay: £12.91-£25.82 per hour (depending on shift)

Shifts: 08:00-20:00 (12-hour shifts)

Contract: Ongoing (subject to site volumes)

The Role

You’ll be responsible for moving vehicles safely and efficiently across site and between compounds. Duties include:

• Moving vehicles within the main compound and between on‑site compounds
• Driving a variety of vehicles, including electric, manual and automatic
• Using handheld scanners where required
• Completing basic vehicle checks and reporting any damage immediately

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• Full UK Category B driving licence
• Held your licence for at least 24 months
• No more than 3 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
• Be aged 22+ (for insurance purposes)
• MUST be Confidence driving manual, automatic and electric vehicles safety-first approach
• Flexibility to work weekends when required
• Your own transport due to the site location
