Job summary

Allied Vehicles Ltd in Scotland is seeking a reliable Driver to join our busy Service department. You will collect and deliver customer vehicles, ensuring safe transport and delivering a first-class experience with every interaction.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, and the role pays £13.45 per hour. To succeed you should hold a full UK driving licence, have previous driving experience and a good knowledge of Scotland.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Previous driving experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of Scotland is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out collection and delivery of customer vehicles as scheduled.
• Complete relevant paperwork with customers in a professional manner.
• Report accidents, incidents or vehicle faults promptly.
• Collect payments and receipts and follow banking procedures on return to the office.
• Complete vehicle condition reports on courtesy and customer vehicles.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a reliable Driver to join our busy Servicedepartment.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are transported safely and efficiently while providing a first-class experience for our customers at every interaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carry out collection and delivery of customer vehicles as scheduled.
• Completing all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring that the customer is treated in a professional and effective manner.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle faults promptly.
• Collect payments and receipts and ensure that the correct banking procedures are followed on the return to the office.
• Complete vehicle condition reports on courtesy vehicles and customer vehicles.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience in a driving role.
• Good geographical knowledge of Scotland.
