Job summary

Longacres Garden Centre is seeking an enthusiastic delivery driver to join our Transport team. You will work as part of a hard‑working group to load, deliver and unload goods to customers, providing a friendly, efficient service on every visit.

The role includes every Saturday, free onsite parking, and a 15% staff discount (rising to 20% after five years). You should have multi‑drop delivery experience, be comfortable with manual handling, and enjoy developing in a busy, customer‑facing

Responsibilities

• Manage and handle customer orders
• Load and unload delivery vans
• Help with general enquiries from customers when delivering goods
• Ensure the delivery vehicles are kept clean and tidy
• Maintenance of the vehicles
• Support the supervisor and team members with the operational requirements of the department
• Ensure that the highest standard of customer service is maintained
