Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres is seeking a full-time Delivery Support role in Greater London. You will drive delivery vehicles, deliver stock to customers, and work closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the department succeed.

The position operates on a rotating schedule with Tuesday to Friday shifts and alternating weekends. The role requires motivation, a willingness to perform shop floor tasks, heavy lifting, and a full clean driving licence.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide a professional support to the Delivery Department.

Working closely with the Garden Centre Manager to help the department to succeed.

Hiring rate - £13.35

Full time

Rota: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 09:00-18:00 with alternate weekends Saturday 09:00-18:00 and Sunday 09:00-17:30

Main duties and responsibilities:

• To drive our vehicles to deliver stock to customers.
• To drive in a timely, safe and legal manner.
• Treat the company’s vehicle with care and keep it tidy and clean.
• Develop knowledge of the products sold, keeping calm when working under pressure.
• Handle complaints with care.
• Be aware of the relevant goals of the business plan and the part you have to play
• Work closely and supportively with managers, departments and supervisors.
• Work with colleagues in a respectful and flexible manner.
