DRIVE Service Manager: Lead Safeguarding & Intervention Team

Job summary

RISE Mutual CIC is expanding the DRIVE service in Northamptonshire. The Service Manager will lead multi-agency collaboration, oversee Case Managers, and ensure safeguarding and data governance. You will drive performance, supervision, and annual appraisals while reporting to the Project Director.

This role requires senior leadership, experience in domestic abuse interventions, and a strong ability to work across agencies to deliver effective, safe services for service users.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Domestic Abuse work.
• Experience of managing performance and improving team/unit performance.
• Ability to review and analyse data and apply problem solving skills to improve performance.
• Experience of working effectively across organisational boundaries.
• Experience of managing successful projects.
• Sound knowledge of the principles of Equal Opportunities, anti-discriminatory practice and valuing diversity.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation.
• Experience of managing budgets.
• A strong understanding and experience of risk management.
• Experience and knowledge of multi-agency liaison risk management.
• Experience of working with Families, Children and Service Users.
• An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Mobilise the expansion project across Northamptonshire in collaboration with the Drive Central Team and DRIVE Northants staff.
• Provide monthly Case Management Supervision to Case Managers and promote wellbeing and professional development.
• Conduct annual appraisals and regular supervision reviews, addressing poor performance and welfare issues.
• Ensure safeguarding training is up to date and that training from RESPECT and other partners is completed.
• Use the Drive case management system to record data for evaluation, performance management and learning.
• Represent the service at local and national events and deliver training in partnership with the Project Director.
• Develop links with other agencies, participate in panels and working groups, and share best practice with other Drive Service Managers.
• Monitor compliance with GDPR, Data Protection Acts and related policies; maintain accurate, secure audit trails of communications.
• Prepare routine performance reports for the Project Director, funders and stakeholders.
