Job summary

Booker is seeking a Forecourt Proposition Manager to shape our forecourt range, promotions and seasonal activity for National Accounts and independent forecourt customers. You will translate customer needs into strong commercial plans and work with Trading, Category and National Accounts teams to deliver tailored propositions.

You will travel nationwide to spend time in-market with customers, develop the forecourt ranges, campaigns and promotions, and ensure the needs of independent forecourt

Qualifications

• Strong forecourt sector experience.
• Commercial or trading experience.
• Experience working with National Accounts or large customers.
• Strong market knowledge and the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
• Strong relationship-building skills with ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commercially/financially focused approach with customer impact.
• Willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually improve the forecourt proposition to drive customer growth, profitability and loyalty.
• Build relationships across National Accounts, Key Account teams and Trading to understand customer requirements and turn them into effective commercial plans.
• Work with Category Managers and Trading teams to develop appropriate forecourt ranges, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
• Plan ahead for important promotional and seasonal periods with key National Account customers.
• Ensure the needs of independent forecourt retailers are represented alongside larger National Account customers.
• Use market data, customer insight and competitor activity to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
• Produce tailored insight and proposition materials to support conversations with National Account customers.
• Spend time in the market with customers and visit competitors to stay informed about the forecourt sector.
• Collaborate across Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Retail Support, Finance and Range to improve offer.
• Support development of new services, formats and opportunities that strengthen forecourt proposition and retain key customers.
• Act as a strong voice for forecourts across Booker and promote a “think forecourts” culture.
